This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing widgets.
You can drag and drop to rearrange.
You can edit widgets to customize them.
The left side has widgets you can add!
Some widgets you can only access when you get a premium membership.
Some widgets have options that are only available when you get a premium membership.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!
Tamara's Vision: based on the Lermontov Poem "The Demon" Great tortured love story. There's an opera about it too, don't know who wrote it. Many early modernist Russian painters, like Vrubel, used the poem as subjects for their works.
Damaged Goods: typical of my photography, combining "formal" subject matter with "expressionist" words or metaphors, I like the juxtoposition.
Kisses from Caillech: a series of rose photos, Caillech was a Celtic goddess of the springtime, called the "most beautiful and treacherous," I liked that.
Fragments in Broken Time: totally non-objective, but kinda-sorted based on some of my writing.
I got some digital stuff posted. Constructive criticism is welcome.
I do like straight photography, but for me abstract pieces just seem more meaningful.
I am considering submitting the 3 part series to an exhibition soon (the one that starts "will the noise break" and ends "with hope riding hope"). I'm in the middle of a move to a new city so I dont know if I'll get it submitted in time.
I thought I would post a note about my recent deviations...you may notice a theme. I went to Hawaii last year and took those photos from Oahu, until now I havent had a place to put them. The aviation pics are from the Central Ohio area.
People who know me personally are probably confused by this work, my paintings tend to be very expressionistic and typically abstract to the point of non-objective. i've been trying to expand my artistic horizons. Perhaps this is to my own detriment, as it is hard to keep an "audience" if no really knows what to expect from you. At any rate, I'm having fun with it, and that's all that really matters to me.
thanks for the watch, so ...
